Meet the Heart Behind the Practice
Find the therapist who is right for you
At Mindful Space Counseling, we believe therapy begins with connection. Our team offers inclusive, affirming, and culturally responsive care for individuals, couples, and families. Each clinician brings a unique background and approach, with a shared commitment to compassion, authenticity, and growth. No matter where you are on your journey, you’ll find a therapist here who sees you, supports you, and walks alongside you toward healing.
Abbey Bell, LPC
Abbey is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Clinical Supervisor, EMDR therapist, and the founder of Mindful Space Counseling. With over 15 years of experience, she works with teens, couples, and adults across the lifespan. Her areas of focus include trauma, OCD, grief, anxiety, and complex relationship dynamics.
For clients who are interested in trauma-focused treatment, Abbey offers EMDR therapy as one of several evidence-based options. EMDR may be used to help process trauma, painful life experiences, attachment and relationship wounds, grief, and experiences that continue to affect present-day thoughts, emotions, and relationships.
Abbey’s approach is individualized and may also include ERP for OCD, cognitive and behavioral strategies, attachment-focused work, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation. Treatment is tailored to each client’s needs rather than relying on one approach for everyone.
She believes healing happens through connection and strives to create a space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow. In addition to her clinical work, Abbey provides supervision and mentorship for pre-licensed clinicians, supporting their professional growth and confidence as emerging therapists.
